Decorah is Joining Healthiest State Initiative, Hosting Multiple Community Walks on October 6th
Physical activity is one of the most important things all Iowans can do to improve their health – and walking is a great way to get moving while connecting with your fellow community members. The Iowa Healthiest State 11th Annual Walk, presented by Delta Dental of Iowa, asks Iowans to walk for 30 minutes. Upper Explorerland’s Safe Routes to School program is partnering with multiple local organizations to join the effort on October 6th.
In honor of the 11th annual walk, 11 walks have already been registered in Winneshiek County. The following walks are open to the public and everyone in the area is encouraged to attend one (or more)!
