SUNDAY, September 15 is the 10th Annual Welcome Friends and Neighbors Picnic from 5:00-6:30 p.m. in Good Shepherd’s front yard, due to construction in the backyard. Invite your friends and neighbors to enjoy good local food, a marshmallow roast, games for kids, live music by local musicians, including the Good Shepherd Band and Matt and Siri Steven, and of course great conversation! The picnic is free and open to all. In the event of a heavy rain, the picnic will be in the Fellowship Hall.
10th Annual Welcome Friends and Neighbors Picnic Sunday, September 15
Good Shepherd will host its 10th annual Welcome Friends and Neighbors Picnic on Sunday, September 15 from 5:00-6:30 p.m., a chance to celebrate community and enjoy good food and conversation! As in the past, the picnic will include lots of great local food, live music, including the Good Shepherd Band and a special performance by local musicians Matt and Siri Steven, and more! As always, there will be games for kids and a marshmallow roast. The event is free and open to all. A large tent will be set up in Good Shepherd’s front yard, due to construction work in the backyard, to provide shelter from sun or showers. In the event of a heavy rain, the picnic will be held in the Fellowship Hall. The entire Decorah community is invited, including Luther College students, faculty, and staff.
