Event Details

Kids and parents, learn a simple technique to personalize anything made out of wood! Kroting is a type of decoration that began long ago on the western coast of Norway. The oldest examples are often geometric, but the tradition later evolved to include tulips and vines. In this two-hour workshop, you’ll be encouraged to be creative and make pictures and designs that are entirely your own. No experience is necessary. All materials will be supplied. Just bring a family member and your ideas!

Ages 8 to adult. Children must be accompanied by a participating adult. One to two children per adult. Preregistration is required.

Support for this workshop is provided by The American-Scandinavian Foundation.
