Luther College Center Stage Series presents: “The
Nature of Forgetting” by Theatre Re

Iowa – At 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26, come experience “The Nature of
Forgetting” in the Center for Faith and Life Main Hall on the Luther
College campus. The piece will be performed by Theatre Re, an ensemble based in
London. Rather than speaking, the group relies on energetic movement and
captivating live music to tell the story of a middle-aged father in the early
stages of dementia. Bringing together art and science, this inventive,
enthralling production is an adventure into a deep understanding of humanity
and the joy of life.

Re’s ‘The Nature of Forgetting,'” says Kristen Underwood,
director of campus programming. “The question ‘What do we have when we
don’t have memory?’ is posed in the most creative ways by this talented

of life in a captivating style embracing mime, theatre and live music.
The Nature of Forgetting” premiered
in January 2017 at the London International Mime Festival. The production ran
in August 2017 at the Edinburgh Fringe, the largest arts festival in the world.

stunning production you won’t soon forget.”

highly creative and talented chefs on the Norse Culinary Team invite you to
partake in the Center Stage Dinner Series before the show. The dinners feature
a multicourse menu to compliment each performance. A separate ticket is
required. All meals begin at 5:30 p.m. in Peace Dining Room on the second floor
