Event Details

Welcome to Open Hub Singing Club! Whether you love to sing or are terrified by the very thought of it, you are warmly welcomed to this 4-week all-inclusive community choir! We’ll learn songs from far and near in the oral tradition. Join us to sing, socialize, and relax – because singing is too important to leave to the professionals!

I want to join! What do I need to do?
–Register at, or just show up the first night.
–payment is by donation to support ArtHaus.

Frequently Asked Questions:
Do I need to practice at home? No. All of the songs we sing are easy to learn when we’re together, and you don’t have to learn them perfectly anyway.
Do I need to know how to read music from a page? No. Most of the songs we learn are by oral tradition, call-and-repeat. When occasionally we do use printed music, there are enough people who do read music that you can easily learn just by listening.
Do I have to sing alone? Never. This is not about anyone’s particular voice; it’s about making good music together, to feel the wholeness of US.
Do I have to perform? No. Although some opportunities to perform at local fundraisers may arise, your participation in those is totally optional.
Who teaches the songs? You’ll learn songs from Liz Rog and others who will lead the singing in the oral tradition. This is an inclusive social singing movement that is spreading across the world.
Join us. You are welcome here. You already have everything you need!
