The American Dream by Edward Albee

What is the “The American Dream” to a fractured family whose entire identity is lost in an absurd Bermuda Triangle of meaningless memories, pointless protests and scathing similes?  Will fate play a part when a service call request to a local agency actually brings results, perhaps to give some satisfaction that was hitherto evading them all? From the author of “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Wolf”, you can expect the struggle will be larger than life, and intimately intimidating.  CONTENT WARNING: Dialogue in show contains graphic descriptions of child abuse.

This absurdist one-act will run a little over an hour, with refreshments available. Reserve tickets on our website https://yeoldeoperahouse.org/tickets or by calling 507-498-JULY. You will not receive a call back, unless your order cannot be fulfilled. “You just can’t get satisfaction anywhere, these days. Just try!”
