Co-Dependents Anonymous (CoDA) is a fellowship of people whose common purpose is to develop healthy relationships. The only requirement for attending our meetings is a desire for healthy and loving relationships – with others, and with ourselves.
Not sure if you might be co-dependent? Some patterns are: thinking we can take care of ourselves without any help; difficulty making decisions, or second-guessing the decisions we made; believing we are unworthy; trouble setting boundaries – yet feeling resentful when others overstep those unstated boundaries; fear expressing our own opinions; offering advice or help without being asked; losing rest or sleep worrying or obsessing about others and their problems; harshly judging ourselves and others… The list of patterns goes on.
We invite you to explore LIVING life rather than merely getting through life. There is hope for a new day with CoDA! It is suggested that newcomers try six basic meetings before deciding if CoDA is right for them. We meet Wednesdays from 1-2pm at the Lingonberry, enter at 218 W Water Street or from the rear parking lot; meetings are held downstairs. All attendees are always anonymous. Who attends and what is said stays absolutely confidential.
