Free meals for the unemployed, self-employed

State Auditor Rob Sand started a new program that buys a meal for struggling Iowans up to $20 (3 meals per person) if they purchase the meal from a local restaurants hurt by pandemic closure orders. They’ve already raised over $10,000 on top of Rob’s own contribution of a month of his salary.

So, if you are in Iowa and unemployed, self-employed, or on food stamps, please let them buy you a meal from a local restaurant!
