The Trim Press Operator will prepare casted parts from the die cast machines.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Excellent attendance, be focused and engaged.
Follow written work instructions for the designated part.
Degate and trim part according to instructions.
Alert Lead or Manager of continuous improvement ideas
Efficiently work to the production standards set by mgmt.
Clean and organize work area.
Check parts for defects
Meet all company and department goals for quality and production.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Must be able to read and comprehend written and verbal work instructions.
Good hand eye coordination, manual dexterity (the ability to quickly move your hand, your hand together with your arm, or your two hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects).
Flexibility to adjust to various job assignments within their department and work in other departments as the workload increases and decreases.
Willingness to work early morning or early evening shifts.
Ability to work well under minimal supervision.
Capacity to take direction.
Strong attention to detail.
Physically capable of lifting, pushing/pulling and moving objects up to 50 pounds routinely.
Must be able to work mandatory overtime as required.

Education and Training

Eighteen years of age and either a high school diploma or GED.

Deco Products is a full-service zinc die-caster that offers precision zinc die-castings to customers globally. We utilize custom designed hot-chambered die-casting machines to offer competitive and quality products.

Deco is currently hiring Production Associates for 1st and 2nd shifts. Production Associates are an integral part of the team at Deco, and are responsible for a variety of tasks including operating manual and automatic manufacturing equipment, assembling parts, and conducting work following proper procedures.

Shift is as follows:

1st Shift: 7:00 am – 3:00 pm (M-F)

2nd Shift: 3:00 pm – 11:00 pm (M-TH) 12:00 pm – 8:00 pm or 3:00pm to 8:00 pm (F)

3rd Shift: 11:00 pm – 9:00 am (M-Th)

Quarterly bonuses are paid out in addition to base hourly pay.  starting pay is $19.00 per hour 2nd Shift & $19.50 per hour 3rd shift.  Pay includes shift premium.
