Decorah High Point Cabins – Cabin Cleaner & Manager Position

$15-$25 per hour. Depending on Qualifications and Efficiencies.

March – November Annually -15-40 hours a week. Depending on Bookings.

Cleaning Duties & Property Manager Job Responsibilities:

First and foremost cleaning cabins in between Guest stays. May have to occasionally work a few hours on the weekends.

Maintains property rentals by enforcing leases; maintaining and securing premises; Communicating with guests and other staff members.

Property Manager Job Duties:

Maintains property by enforcing rules of occupancy; inspecting vacant units and completing before and after occupancy duties; managing cleaning and Cleaning Cabins.

Maintains building systems by contracting for maintenance services; supervising repairs when needed.

Secures property by checking in on all departed guest cabins. Picking up items left behind by previous guests, in and around the cabin premises.

Securely shutting/locking all windows and doors, turning on and off a/c, heat, fridges and other electric units in cabins when not in use; establishing and enforcing precautionary policies and procedures; responding to emergencies.

Enforces occupancy policies and procedures.

Enforces pet and smoking policies and procedures.

Maintains and coordinates maintenance and either do cleanings or schedule with hired cleaning crew.

If cleaning crew cannot complete a cabin in time of the next tenant arrival, the manager will clean the cabin in time for the next guest.
Manager will double check that all cleaning operations were completed before guests arrive.

Accomplishes organizational goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Property Manager Skills and Qualifications:
Must have Professional Cleaning Experience.
Complying to Customer Needs, Territory Management, Prospecting Skills, Professionalism, Internal Communications, External Communications, Listening, Responsiveness, Access to Wi-Fi and Cell Service at all times. Quick to respond to guest questions and scheduled maintenance.

May have to work weekends.
