Center Stage Series School Performance: Get Hip!

Recommended for 3rd-6th grade.
At a glance, this is a lively and entertaining introduction to jazz music. Along the way we learn about its cultural origins, how improv works, and why creativity and self-expression matter, and the ways in which being part of an ensemble teaches responsibility, teamwork, and cooperation.
