Four Hands, One Heart

Guest Artists Recital with Dr. Lina Yoo Min Lee & Dr. Kaju Lee

The UWL Department of Music hosts a concert of piano duets featuring guest artists Dr. Lina Yoo Min Lee and Dr. Kaju Lee. The concert is on November 22 at 7:30 p.m. at the Annett Recital Hall in the Lowe Center for the Arts.

Titled “Four Hands, One Heart,” this concert features ‘four hand’ works, meaning that both players sit and play from the same piano as opposed to playing from two separate ones. Composers for works to be played include Edvard Grieg, Franz Schubert, Claude Debussy, Johannes Brahms, and Unhoe Park.

This concert is sponsored in part by the UWL Piano Scholarship Fund. The afternoon before the concert, both pianists are present for a masterclass with the current UWL piano students. This masterclass is also in Annett Recital Hall, from 2:15 to 3:15 p.m.

Please note that the Lowe Center for the Arts is currently adjacent to a major parking ramp construction project. Both the masterclass and concert are free and open to the public.
