Night on the Farm & Contra dance at the barn of Tailwind Acres (Cresco)

Who doesn’t love a setting sun on the farm? Join us for a night at Tailwind Acres to kick off our 2024 u-pick flower season. The Cresco Chamber of Commerce will commence the season with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 5:30pm. The u-pick flower fields will be open from 6-8p.m. followed by a good ol’ fashioned barn dance from 8-10p.m. featuring the Western Home String Band.

Throughout the night enjoy a savory treat from Lil Snack Bar, who will be offering their charcuterie boxes. Beer, wine and non-alcoholic drink options will be available for purchase!

Pre-order a wristband for $30 tax which includes one (1) u-pick bouquet, one (1) barn dance ticket and one (1) charcuterie box. Wristband order closes Thursday, July 17.

Otherwise, just show up and a la carte any of the following that suit your fancy:

• 6-8p.m. pick your own beautiful flower bouquet – $20 tax for a pitcher-sized bouquet of other flowers. BYO-vase or buy a vase for an additional fee. We have a limited supply of scissors. You are welcome to bring your own snips!

• 8-10p.m. barn dance featuring Western Home String Band – $7/per person (kids 12 and under are free).

• Charcuterie box from Lil Snack Bar – $10

• Beer, wine and non-alcoholic drink options for purchase onsite.

We take cash, check or credit card.

General parking available in field across the street. Accessible parking onsite, only.

No outside alcohol. No smoking. No pets, please.
