Die Cast Machine Operator 2nd Shift

Position Objective:
The Machine Operator is responsible for operating and troubleshooting zinc die cast machines that produce parts for assembly and powder coat operations.  The position will be responsible for making machine adjustments, handling hot molten zinc safely, lifting and moving production parts, troubleshooting and cleaning machines. The Machine Operator will work with all areas of the company, specifically with supervisors, other department personnel, quality control and engineering.

Job Duties and Responsibilities  
1.       Excellent attendance

2.       Be focused and engaged.

3.       Coordinate with others to perform the assigned work load within that department.

4.       Using tools and lifting or moving production parts.

5.       Making machine adjustments.

6.       Clean and maintain machines

7.       Maintaining a safe, clean work environment.

8.       Other duties as assigned.
