A Trio of Stories

New Minowa Players presents A Trio of Stories, a grouping of three one-act plays which create a two-hour performance. Show times are Thursday, November 5 at 7:00, Friday, November 6 at 7:00, Saturday, November 7 at both 2:00 and 7:00, and Sunday, November 8 at 2:00. Performances are at New Minowa Players Theatre, 906 South Mill Street, Decorah.

The three stories are Cagebirds by David Campton, An Experiment by Brent Holland, and Unsinkable by Michael McKeever. Cagebirds is about eight women (or are they birds?) locked in a room. They are content in their routine until a “Wild One” is introduced. An Experiment portrays a fantasy world, in which five confused participants wake up with no memory of their past life, and only one word, a personality descriptor, written on their shirts. Unsinkable takes place on April 15th. 1912, in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. Harland and Claire Wydner-Doyle have just been informed that the ship they are standing on, the unsinkable Titanic, is in fact sinking. Hogwash!
