Open to all families!

9:00 – 11:00 a.m.

Decorah Fish Hatchery 

Come for a fantastic day of trout

fishing fun, hands-on learning, and

a behind-the-scenes tour of the

Decorah Fish Hatchery!

Participants will…

Tour the hatchery and get an interactive aquatic insect and water quality demonstration.

Receive hands-on fishing lessons

Rods, reels, and worms will all be provided!

Future Girl Scouts who sign up for this event will receive a $15 discount

when they register to become a member of Girl scouts after the event.

Regional Director Christine VanHorn will provide a unique discount code.

All participants over the age of 16 who help bait hooks, handle fish, or keep fish need to have a current 

fishing license with a trout stamp. Volunteers will be a available who have a license if you don’t.
