Free film screening: Kings of Kuub

The Oneota Film Festival Board is excited to Kick-off the 2026/27 Festival Season with a FREE film screening and supporter event. All are welcome and there is no cost to attend. Join us as we screen one of the films that was selected for this year’s festival.

The Kick-Off Event will take place on Friday, November 6th from 7-9pm at T-Bock’s Upstairs. We will be screening a film called KINGS OF KUBB

KINGS OF KUBB directed by BJ Hollars and Steve Dayton

KINGS OF KUBB follows four elite competitors, each willing to risk everything for a shot at the U.S. National Kubb Championship, held in the Kubb Capital of North America (Eau Claire, WI). As the stakes rise on the pitch, real-world pressures beyond it reveal a powerful story of legacy, rivalry, and the fragile line between friendship and ambition. What does it cost to be the best? And how high a price will one pay to be crowned the King of Kubb?
