More than a Job: Finding Your Calling with Your Sociology and Social Sciences Degree

The sociology program will host a panel of Luther College graduates who have received degrees in sociology and other social sciences, as well as current Luther students and faculty who teach in sociology, to discuss their callings and how they utilize their undergraduate (and graduate) training to fulfill their vocational calling, a central concept in the Lutheran liberal arts tradition. After the panel there will be a reception for students to mingle with the graduates and upper-class undergraduate students who are currently working in their fields. All undergraduate students and local area prospective college students are invited to attend for an evening of learning about their potential futures and what they really can do with their social science degrees.
