Event Details

Join us for a springtime foray into the one-and-only Waterloo Creek WMA in Allamakee County. This walk will focus on spring ephemerals and associates, such as wild leek, spring beauty, trout lily, wild ginger, ostrich fern, and others.  We will keep our eyes open for any and all fungal surprises as well.  Bring your appetite as we will be sampling an array of delicious wild edibles and also enjoying teatime together in the woods (bring a mug and a bowl).  Friends, there is simply no place better to take in the wonders of flowering springtime than Waterloo Creek.

Please RSVP to let us know you are coming and receive directions by emailing  us at the.wilders.way@gmail.comRecommended donation of $5-15 per person, or whatever is affordable for you. See you there!
