Cashier Sales Associate

Job Summary

Sales associate/Cashiers are responsible for greeting customers and providing great customer service while accurately and efficiently operating a cash register. Other responsibilities include but not limited to, answering phones and paging for assistance, assisting in other areas or departments of the store as needed.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Greet customers when entering or leaving store
• Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas
• Pleasantly deal with customers to ensure satisfaction
• Perform basic math functions to collect payments and make change
• Operate registers, scanners, scales and credit card/debit card terminals
• Memorize product locations throughout the store and be able to direct customers or make suggestions
• Handle exchanges and refunds in a quick, efficient manner
  Collect payments and bag purchases for customers

• Must be able to work a rotation of weekends
