Requirements:

The Packaging Technical I is responsible for the operation of all packaging equipment utilized to complete the packaging of beer into cans, kegs and bottles following the company’s standard operating procedures (SOP’s). Teamwork and cooperation with other departments are essential. Additional tasks include but are not limited to the cleaning and maintenance of all packaging equipment following company SOP’s, assembly, breakdown, and cleaning of all parts used in the packaging process and cleaning and maintaining the packaging area.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

· Ability to lift 60 lbs. repeatedly

· Ability to buddy lift 165 lbs.

· Ability to be on your feet for up to 12 hours a day

Education & Experience:

· High school diploma or GED Certificate

· Mechanical ability and aptitude

Work Environment:

This job operates in a manufacturing environment. This role routinely uses standard cleaning and sanitation products and procedures. This role is required to have the knowledge of the prevention of exposure to chemical, physical and biological hazards that could compromise the integrity of our finished goods.

Physical Demands:

Must be able to stand for long periods of time, squatting, crouching, bending, kenneling, twisting, and repetitive movements. Lifting 60 pounds unassisted and up to 165 pounds assisted, manually manipulating parts, pumps, and hoses. Pushing and pulling heavy loads.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position with approximately 40 hours per week. Expected hours have the potential to change based on production needs. Typically, Monday through Friday rarely weekends.
