We are seeking a dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The Nursing Assistant will provide direct patient care under the supervision of nurses and medical staff, ensuring the comfort and well-being of residents. *On the Job Training for Newly Certified Nursing Assistance*
**Duties:**
– Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, and feeding
– Take vital signs and record resident information
– Assist with resident mobility and transfers
– Provide emotional support to residents and their families
– Follow care plans and communicate effectively with the healthcare team
– Provide specialized care for residents with dementia
– Lift and move residents as needed
**Skills:**
– Current Certified Nursing Assistant License for the State of Iowa
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work in a healthcare setting
– Empathy and compassion for residents in various states of health
– Physical ability to lift and move residents safely
– Ability to stand for extended periods. Ability to lift, bend, stoop, stretch, twist, sit and reach.
