Quality Inspector

Position Objective:
This position is responsible for measuring and testing products during the manufacturing processes to ensure that products comply with quality standards.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Inspect components before, during and after production.
Record results to indicate if parts comply with specifications.
Look up, read, and interpret inspection plans on a computer.
Look up, read, and interpret blueprints on a computer.
Use precision instruments, gauges, and machines.
Communicate effectively with coworkers inside and outside of the Quality Assurance Dept

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Some experience using gauges, calipers, micrometers, pin gauges, etc.
A keen eye for detail
Communication skills
Basic computer literacy
The ability to consistently identify defects across thousands of inspections.
The ability to closely follow instructions

Education and Training:
High school diploma or GED is required.
Minimum of 2 years work experience is preferred
Demonstrated knowledge working with general computer software programs
