Grocery Assistant Manager

Reports to: Grocery Manager
Position Level: 4
Starting Wage: $18.25/hr
Supervises: Grocery Stocker 1 & 2
Daytime, evening and weekend availability required.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Grocery Assistant Manager works in conjunction with the Grocery Manager, Grocery Lead, Front End Manager, Front End Assistant Manager, and Front End Lead to direct and manage tasks for the Grocery and Front End departments. In addition to general Grocery and Front End duties, the Grocery Assistant Manager position has the responsibility of learning and performing enhanced duties in Grocery (Packaged Grocery, Bulk, Frozen, Bakery, Chill, Wine/Beer) and Front End – all as instructed by the Grocery Manager and/or General Manager. The Grocery Assistant Manager will have the ability to provide supervision (mentor & review) to Front End Cashier, Grocery Stocker 1 & 2, & USS 3 positions, as outlined in our store structure documents. This position requires the ability to problem solve and work independently. All OCC staff are responsible to provide welcoming, friendly, helpful, and non-judgmental customer service to all shoppers and co-workers in accordance with our organizational goals and programs.
